Congregate Living
& Continuing Care Retirement Facilities

DC Engineering has a long standing partnerships with architects, owners, contractors and others who are involved in multiple dwelling facilities, such as apartment complexes, retirement communities, assisted living facilities, and community centers. These partnerships, coupled with our understanding of the various project types and our ability to provide multi-disciplinary engineering services under ‘one roof’ allows us to deliver on projects quickly, thoroughly, and cost effectively.

Another important aspect of the work we do in this market sector revolves around the values that we share with many of our clients and long-standing partners. Specifically, these shared values can be boiled down to serving and enriching the lives of people. When like-minded organizations with a shared history come together on a project, there is a powerful spirit of collaboration and creativity, and projects are approached and completed with a sense of purpose.

Highlighted Clients & Projects:

  • The Pacific Companies has been one of DC Engineering’s longest standing and valued clients. The company has developed and manages over 150 multi-family and senior citizen properties, as well as other types of housing properties in the Western US. A unique and admirable aspect of their organization is that many of their properties proudly serve the low and middle income segments of the population, where there is a great need.

An important aspect of The Pacific Companies’ successful business model is a tight integration of their development and construction processes. This is where another important partnership comes into play. DC’s collaboration with the DG Group has been critical to those integration efforts. The relationships and understanding forged between DC and DG Group have enabled the two companies to provide a more streamlined set of architectural and engineering services on dozens of projects over the years.

A recent project with DG Group and Pacific Companies is New Path Community Housing in Boise, ID. The building is a 1st of its kind in Idaho, providing apartment units for the chronically homeless. We consider it an honor to be part of projects like this, working alongside like-minded people and organizations to impact the lives of those most vulnerable in our community.
