Internships

DC Engineering is much more than an engineering design firm. We support many aspects of a project, from master site planning through ongoing operational support. For many of our new hires, gaining an all-encompassing view of how their engineering degree or other skillsets fit into a project is a rewarding experience. It’s not just engineers who are developing in their expertise with DC Engineering. We have skilled craftsmen who applying their craft in project management, commissioning, project startups, and measurement & verification in addition to the many others who support the needs of the firm.
Benefits of a DC Internship
- Experiencing/Developing Communication Skills. Participate in Team and client meetings to see business/project communication and engineering problem solving in action.
- Learning opportunities. Interns can enhance their experience in many ways: visiting job sites, understanding/working in DC’s internal systems, working in production system and tools (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) conducting research for their team, applying resource materials used by the team, engaging with other DC teams.
- Ongoing, regular training and checkpoints. You will work closely with your Team Lead and other team members to regularly review your work, receive new tasks, answer questions, learn and apply new skills.
