The DC team has always taken a ‘hands-on’ approach with controls-related work, and is willing to be in the field, interfacing with system operational staff to ensure that they understand facility operations as much as possible. The result of this approach is that they can not only handle any design work that we have ever given them, but they have also become a critical resource when it comes to troubleshooting, start-up, and other follow-on related efforts at the client facility.

Controls Department Purpose
Utilize our diverse experience and talents to bridge disparate systems and disciplines by providing a comprehensive solution to create fiercely loyal clients.

The Controls team has become an integral part of the solutions that DC provides, complementing the more traditional design efforts for many of our major clients in the water/wastewater, food processing, and supermarket segments of the market. The team also has extensive experience working in the IT arena, working closely with DC’s Applied IT department, as well as owner IT groups. By bridging the gap between disparate systems, the DC Controls Team helps our clients achieve cohesive functionality throughout its systems and processes.

The team is highly capable of understanding the processes being controlled and then designing the right solution to meet the client’s desired overall system performance. We provide comprehensive solutions from control system design through programming and startup, and routinely work with process engineers, contractors and owners to help deliver successful projects. DC Engineering also has a UL508A panel shop and can provide fully tested and high quality control panels for our clients’ needs.
